Santa Marta, Colombia
Santa Marta, officially the Santa Marta Tourist, Cultural and Historical District, is the capital of the Magdalena department, Colombia. It was founded on July 29, 1525 by the Spaniard Rodrigo de Bastidas, making it the oldest surviving city in Colombia.
